The CGSC Foundation is supporting a National Security Roundtable event hosted by CGSC’s School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) at the Lewis and Clark Center, March 8-9.
Participating in this NSRT program are 16 business leaders from varied industries and professions, including banking and financial services, legal, business consulting, construction, defense contracting, government and academia.
The program begins tonight with a reception and welcoming remarks from CGSC Assistant Deputy Commandant Col. Leona Knight. CGSC Chief of Staff Mr. Jeff LaMoe will provide an overview of the College, including how the Army develops leaders. The full program will occur tomorrow with the participants observing a SAMS exercise in the morning. In the afternoon they will take part in an afternoon panel discussion focused on how the Army educates tactical experts for strategic problems and a second panel discussion on the national security implications of the situation in the South China Sea.
