A Celebration of International Friendship



Since 1895 international military officers from around the world have come to Fort Leavenworth to study military art and science at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. CGSS Class 2015 International Flag Ceremony



Opening day for each class of the Command and General Staff School (CGSS) intermediate level of education always includes the International Flag Ceremony. The flag ceremony for CGSS Class 2015 is Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center. Attendance is by invitation only by CGSC.

Fort Lee professor wins 2013 CGSC Faculty Interagency Writing Competition
Dr. William J. Davis, Jr., associate professor in the Department of Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Operations at the Fort Lee, Va., satellite campus of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, was recently selected as the winner of the 2013 CGSC Faculty Interagency Writing Competition sponsored by the CGSC Foundation’s Simons Center for Interagency Cooperation.
