We’ll enjoy lunch and receive a comprehensive briefing on all the Wing’s functions, including an in-depth look at the 132d Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, renowned for its global active targeting missions.

The detailed presentation will focus on the 132d Operations Group, featuring four unique squadrons with specialized missions:

  • 124th Attack Squadron: Operating the MQ-9 Reaper, a Remote Piloted Aircraft, the squadron supports 24/7 global combat operations from Iowa.
  • 132d Combat Training Squadron: As a Distributed Mission Operations platform, this squadron leverages advanced simulators in a virtual environment to test joint fires concepts for the Department of Defense.
  • 168th Cyber Operations Squadron: One of only 12 Cyber Protection Teams in the Air National Guard, this squadron uses the CVA-H weapon system to assess protocol and network security across the DoD. They also maintain a state partnership with Kosovo and bolster Iowa’s cyber infrastructure.
  • 132d Cyber Range: Gain firsthand knowledge of the virtual cyber capabilities being developed to strengthen our national security.

These missions are critical in our nation’s efforts to deter and, if necessary, defeat aggression, particularly in the face of potential threats from China.
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with these experts and learn about the pivotal roles these Airmen play in maintaining our national defense.
