On July 12, 2021, at Fort Leavenworth, the CGSC International Military Student Division, led by Director Jim Fain, conducted an orientation for the incoming class of international military students for the CGSOC resident class of 2022. The 2022 IMS class consists of 113 students from 88 countries.
The resident CGSOC class of 2022 will conduct their flag ceremony signifying the beginning of the class in August.

On July 17, 2021, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) Command and Staff General Officer Course (CGSOC) conducted their International Flag Ceremony. This ceremony serves as the official opening for the 47-week-long course. A total of 67 students from 13 countries are part of this year’s WHINSEC CGSOC class.
