Application window for 2022 Scholarship Program closed

The window for applications to the CGSC Foundation’s Scholarship Program closed at midnight on March 15, 2022.

The judging period begins today and ends on March 31. The Foundation will announce the winners on April 13, 2022.

On Jan. 4, the CGSC Foundation kicked off the third year of its competitive scholarship program for relatives of U.S. Army Command and General Staff College alumni and others who are Life Members of the Foundation’s Alumni Association.

More information about the program is on the CGSC Foundation website at www.cgscfoundation.org/scholarships. A link to join the Alumni Association as a Life Member is also on the page for those that would like to join to make their relatives eligible.

As in previous years, the 2022 Foundation scholarship awards will include at least two $500 scholarships to high school students and at least two $500 scholarships to college students.

The Foundation awarded four scholarships in 2020, the first year of the program. In 2021, the Foundation awarded six scholarships.

The CGSC Foundation’s scholarship program is open to high school seniors who will begin their college studies in 2022 and for undergraduate college students in the first three years of their studies (freshman through junior) returning to school.

The Foundation also welcomes donors who may not have eligible relatives but wish to support the scholarship program. Interested persons can support the scholarship program by visiting www.cgscfoundation.org/donate.

The CGSC Foundation was established December 28, 2005 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational corporation with the mission of supporting the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Contributions made to the Foundation are deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code and the Foundation is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under sections 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.
